Medication Management of Psychiatric Illness

We do a thorough assessment of the symptoms of the patients with the help of direct interviews, using psychological scales, questionnaires, collateral information from people know about the patient, old medical records review. Patients are instructed to undergo laboratory investigations and imaging studies as needed. We review all the information to create a possible explanation for presenting symptoms. Based on the information and feedback from the patient and their loved ones, an individualized comprehensive treatment plan is designed for the patient. This treatment plan then implemented and monitored to achieve the complete remission of symptoms.

How a treatment plan look like

Like any other physical illness, mental health illness originates from a complex interaction of genetic ( family history) and environmental factors. A proper understanding of this complex interaction is necessary for symptom relief. The environmental factors can be many but often cause stress. Often stress is apparent and can be easily identified, but sometimes it not that clear what causing stress in a person’s life. In Greater Heights Holistic Psychiatry, we try to understand the different factors which may contribute to a person’s mental health symptoms. Once factors are identified, It easier to address them with the help of different treatment modalities available.
